MICK JAGGER | LE BEAT ROUTE | SOHO 1982
Mick Jagger, Le Beat Route, Soho, 1982
There was a press call at Le Beat Route Club, Soho, to announce a new Rolling Stones tour. At one point, there was a shout for photographers to go out the back to meet Mr. Jagger.
I had never been to a photo call. It was a rammy — all the photographers jostling for a shot. I wanted to stand back and document the scene. But I was assigned to photograph Mick Jagger.
I got both.
